| About STAR-HSTAR-H Corporation is a privately held company originally founded in the early 1990´s by Mr. G. Yale Eastman, then President of Thermacore, Inc. to develop and market advanced technologies for energy storage and distribution. Mr. Eastman´s interest in radio communications led him to seek out experts in this area, which led him to Penn State University and Professor James K. Breakall. In 1999, Mr. Eastman, with the assistance of Dr. Breakall and Michael Jacobs, then Dr. Breakall´s graduate student, reinvigorated STAR-H and reoriented its focus on antennas and wireless communications technologies. Dr. Milton Machalek joined STAR-H shortly after to market its capabilities to government and industry. STAR-H has been awarded eight Phase I and two Phase II SBIR contracts for small business technology development for the U.S. Army. STAR-H has also developed several advanced antenna technologies which are being commercially marketed. The company holds a significant intellectual property portfolio which includes two U.S. patents. Today, STAR-H is a growing company, expanding in the Central Pennsylvania area. Mr. Eastman has retired as President and Chairman, but remains a key part of the company. Dr. Machalek has assumed the position of President and Chairman. Mr. Brian Herrold is the VP of Engineering and the company´s chief technology officer. | |
